Wright was an insurance agent, founder and director of the Kansas City Boy Scout Roundup; member of Native Sons of Kansas City; member and supporter of the Jackson County Historical Society; Jackon County Chamber of Commerce; Rotary International. Papers contain biographical and genealogical information; correspondence about insurance, scouting, historical societies, historic sites identification, and tourism in greater Kansas City area. Collection of a variety of general archival materials relating to the diverse history of Jackson County, Missouri.
